Warrenty Policy
Thank you for choosing Ezy Auto Wreckers for your used car parts needs! We offer premium-quality parts and exceptional customer service. This policy outlines our warranty coverage, terms, and conditions.
General Warranty:
Most car parts come with a 7-day startup warranty. We guarantee their functionality upon installation. If you encounter issues within seven days of purchase (receipt or invoice date), we’ll offer a replacement or full refund.
Warranty Exclusions:
Our warranty covers only the product cost, excluding labor, installation, or other related expenses.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidents, negligence, modifications, or improper parts usage voids the warranty.
We don’t cover incidental or consequential damages (lost time, inconvenience, etc.) resulting from a defective part.
Engine Warranty:
Engines have a 90-day parts-only warranty. This applies only if:
A licensed mechanic installs the engine using the correct oil (manufacturer’s or equivalent).
All accessories left on the engine are for testing and aren’t covered.
Replacing certain components during installation is highly recommended to avoid warranty issues: radiator, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, EGR, oil cooler, external seals (front/rear main, crankshaft, camshaft). Oil and water leaks caused by not replacing these components aren’t covered.
Additional Notes:
Engine gasket replacement and oil change/filter replacement might be necessary.
Modifying the engine, improper use, or using incorrect equipment/parts for replacement voids the warranty.
Failure to return the exchange engine voids the warranty.
Transmission Warranty:
Transmissions have the same warranty as most other parts (7 days). Seals are not covered. Important: Most transmissions require servicing upon installation. Failure to service voids the warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure:
Contact Ezy Auto Wreckers within the warranty period (calls after the period are not accepted).
Provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) when making a claim.
Ezy Auto Wreckers may request the defective part’s return for inspection before approving a refund.
Other Terms:
Parts, cars, or trades sold “as is,” with a limited warranty, or marked “for parts only” are not eligible for any warranty.
To initiate a warranty claim, you must provide a receipt and return the defective item in its original condition.
If the part seems defective, we may choose to refund or exchange it. Parts that have been modified or tampered with may be rejected.
Return Policy:
You can claim the warranty within 7 days of purchase for exchange or refund.
All returns must be in original condition and packaging. A 25% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returned items.
Customer Responsibility:
Verify part compatibility with your vehicle before purchase. Ezy Auto Wreckers staff can assist with compatibility inquiries, but the final responsibility lies with you.
Ezy Auto Wreckers is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or damage arising from part use, transportation, or delivery once they leave our premises. This includes but is not limited to loss of time, money, vehicle downtime, or delays.
Policy Changes:
Ezy Auto Wreckers reserves the right to modify this warranty and policy at any time. We recommend reviewing the policy periodically for updates.
